Currently living in California, Jamero, along with his late wife, Terri, raised their family in the Seattle area and remains closely connected to Seattle’s Filipino American community. In Vanishing Filipino Americans: The Bridge Generation, Jamero focuses on the experiences of what he calls the "bridge generation," the second generation children of pioneering "Manongs" who immigrated from the Philippines to the U.S. in the early 1900s.

Jamero and local bridge generation Filipino Americans will share their stories about growing up during the 1940s – 1960s, including the experiences of the Seattle Filipino American "Young Turks" who rallied for social change and civil rights, and why this is important to today’s young Filipino Americans.
